Background: The response of treatment for patient in chronic kidney disease needs to be considered because of drug-related problems condition, especially in the administration of antihypertensive therapy.
Objectives: The aim of the study is to learn the incidence of drug related problems and evaluation of therapy.
Method: The observational research involves 113 patients medical records from the Outpatient Department of the First Educational Hospital in Indonesia. Data conducted to show the occurrence and what are the prospects for treatment.
Results: Most of the patients experienced various types of antihypertensive therapy and other treatment changes in antihypertensive therapy, but no actual drug-related problem showed. Most patients get additional therapies depending on the patient’s complaints and efforts to reduce hypertension. The results of therapy depend on the length of treatment and the stage of chronic kidney disease experienced. Blood pressure control is more difficult in patients with higher stage chronic kidney disease or hemodialysis patients.
